POEM STARTER
Inspired by Jewelie Rain
Write a poem that transitions through two or more of the seven stages of grief: denial, bargaining, anger, depression, loss of self, reflection, and acceptance.
The Sixth Stage Of Grief
Loosing everything
Loosing your mind
Losing nothing
Yet losing time
_Anger_
Anger wishing it wouldn’t
But why shouldn’t
You tried but you couldn’t
Aargh can’t rhyme the forth line!
_Depression_
Depressed day and night
Fighting a mental fight
Hurting yourself,letting you starve
Trying to forget what pain have carved
_Loss of self _
__
Losing yourself,losing grip
Don’t know who you are anymore
Sipping your tea,one sip..two sip
Don’t know yourself no more
_Reflection_
All those memories flowing back
Remembering the self control I lack
Wishing it wouldn’t But go away
But yet it stayed for another 30 days
_Acceptance_
It’s ok you tell yourself
There was nothing you could do
It was for the greater good
Letting eveil do what It wants to do
_You thought it was the end….didnt you..?_
_Oh but it’s not…._
_I like to add one more _
_Which I think would help..a lot.._

_Revenge _
__
_Revenge shall burn in flames _
_It shall rise from the dead_
_I know I grief I overcame _
_But there is one more step _
