I Feel Bad For A Star
I feel bad for a star
Watching from afar
In the dog days
When our world is ablaze
They always used to whisper
To wish upon its glister
To dedicate your dreams
In the beauty of its beams
But when your wishes don’t come true
You feel like faith has failed you
You put your blame upon a star
Hoping to patch the scar
You puncture the star with a sword
Venom borderlining abhor
The star didn’t scorch the air
And this accusation is completely unfair
You don’t take responsibility
For your shaky stability
Instead you injure its reputation
Vulgarity approaching damnation
I feel bad for a star
They pretend to know who you are
They think you owe them your shine
But I hope you know that their words do not define
