The Vineyard

“Are you sure man? She’s been missing for five years!”

These words stuck in James head as he drove past the Oklahoma state lines into rural New Mexico. He needed to know if she really was alive and if she wasn’t, at least he had confirmation. At least he knew.

As the car came to a stop and James got out of the car, he spotted a large vineyard with a single man tending the field. He ran up to the man.

“Sir, have you seen this woman?” He held up a picture of wis wife, Grace.

The man looked up and then turned around. Walking away without a word.

James sighed, “Guess I’ll have to find her myself,”

As he said that, James looked down at where the man had been working. What he saw, was an axe accompanied by several be-headed women. Suddenly James blood grew cold and he looked up to find the man, who seemed to have vanished. Then he felt a large pain in the back of his head, and it was lights out for James.
