REPORT (INITIAL FINDINGS - CRIME INVEST.)

CALISTO CITY POLICE

SUMMER SOLSTICE DAY, JULIUS, 2071

LOCATION: RIVER RUN APARTMENTS, UNIT 2D

DETAILS:

Upon entering the apartment unit, my partner, Detective Angelore, and I could smell Melthorvian Bitter Rock residue and could see the place was unkempt and littered with telltale signs of sloth and gluttony crimes including both broken and intact drug paraphernalia, multiple used syringes, 40+ drug sale bags, torch lighters, straws, scales and other small weight measuring equipment. The place had no obvious signs of recent management or inspection as there were multiple holes in drywall, sink was filled with dirty dishes, laundry sat in piles and takeout food containers were strewn across the floor of the main living area. The refrigerator had only soda cans, half eaten food containers, some condiments and one bottle of unknown cloudy substance (sent to LAB for NARC testing).

Det. Angelore and I entered the back bedroom to discover Mr. Ursik Vandali in a prone position on the floor on the opposite side of the room DOA with his eyes open and an expression of terror/shock on his face, hands like claws, arched spine, frozen in rigor mortis. Det. Angelore administered the standard swabs of his nose and mouth for suspected cause of death: SLOTH/GLUTTON SUBSTANCE/MBR O.D. When Det. Angelore swabbed the victim’s mouth/throat the victim reflexed an agonal respiration/exhale and released a small *Truvidean Moth from his lungs, which flew out of his ariway and circled the room a few times before I was able to catch it in a sample bag and tag it for the LAB and AUTOPSY REPORT. No other obvious signs of moth infestation in apartment unit. Victim’s body was secured and prepped for transport. ID and proof of residency confirmed. Wallet contained no cash, several phone numbers, a used gift card and several coupons from local eateries/services. No clear leads. Foul play not currently suspected but *Truvidean Moth warrants further investigation surrounding circumstance of death and possible links to dealers/couriers and gang grudge crimes (as have been reported in recent weeks).

*Truvidean Moths have been known to be used in Sloth and Gluttony Law violations and gang related crime activity as a powerful psychoactive drug with many adverse side effects. The thin layer of dust on its wings acts as a hallucinogen when ingested orally before its release of a neurotoxic poison chemical that stuns its victims much like a scorpion’s venom. The victim loses control of their autonomic nervous system and goes into shock, followed by intense seizures, asphyxiation, ischemia, stroke and cardiac arrest. No other drugs or drug remnants on the victim or discovered at location were believed to have similar toxic effects or lethal results.

COMMENTS: I have seen more credible evidence lately of Truvidean poison deaths that may be part of a drug crime ring or gang stalker/grudge plot in lower Calisto City, parallel to the river district, downtown/Sec. 8 and college town residential areas. I would like to bring in some suspects for questioning. Immediate protocol is to ascertain nature of chemical overdose in most recent victims. Also looking for witnesses.
