Says my 4 year old niece

I made a gift just for you

Playing along with her

As I always do

I closed my eyes

To my surprise

My gift was wrapped in

Her red sock

Tied with a blue bow on the top

Something better

Than diamonds or pearls

A gorgeous long necklace

made by this girl

Using a long string and a lot of macaroni

Each piece was carefully strung .

Using colored crayons, she painted them

In blue, white and red

She gently placed the necklace over my head

Soon,her Mom said it’s time for bed!

Gave my niece a great big kiss

Tomorrow we get together to buy her some goldfish!
