The lights were off

Silent noise

Completely in the dark!

No heartbeats do I hear

Of all the strangers that are near

I’m on a slap in the morgue

With a tag on my toe!

have to be identified

Cause my name is not John Doe!

In my mind, I definitely know

That I have passed away

Hoping guardian angels come

And take me ALL away

piece by piece, that’s all that’s left

of my body’s remains

For I was in an accident, hit by a train!

So here I lay, with a tag on my toe

hope not forever long

I know this is where I should be

Hope the Lord didn’t forget about me🥲

Second night of darkness

Everyone looks the same

We all are wearing toe tags

While,others do have names!

This slab feels hard as the floor

But now the pain

I feel NO MORE!

Another day I go unclaimed

Nobody came to see

Doesn’t anyone care

where I could possibly be?

faith closes a window

And opens up a door

Until that’s day is presented to me

Im rolled back in the drawer!!

Death don’t care who you are

A person, tree or a lark!

Cause one day you will be here too

Sitting in the DARK!
