WRITING OBSTACLE

Turn a mundane activity like household chores into a heart-pumping, action-packed tale!

Waves

Wave 1 was always the easiest. The smallest people, who were easily beneath you, you didn’t even have to think about it. It wasn’t like they could do anything. The second wave was not hard, but not easy either, it was like fighting your peers, a little nervous, but nothing much. The first and second waves comprise of almost 30 people, but the hardest was yet to come. Level 3 was much harder, the people right above you, with the power to make your every breath miserable. As you struggle on sweat starts dripping into your eyes, blurring your vision. By the time you finish with wave 3 you are exhausted, and dreading what’s to come. Wave 4 the final boss. You never get more than one a day. A long winding path, but if you get it right you will succeed. You will finally have a peace of mind. However if you mess up, the boss level can single-handedly destroy your entire life. Every thing you work for- gone. So you better not mess it up. No pressure though. (Cue the nervous laughter) You finally finish. Your hand hovers over the button that will seal your fate. You shut your eyes and press. Welp, nothing you can do about it now. You sigh. Just another day of answering emails…
