Shouldn’t have done that

Should’ve known I’d get hurt

Kid, sometimes love is worth getting burned

Shouldn’t have done that

Should’ve known it would end

Kid, it doesnt have to last forever to be worth having

Shouldn’t have done that

Should’ve known it wouldn’t go well

Kid, a bad ending doesn’t cancel out the good

Shouldn’t have done that

Should’ve known—

Kid, there is no way you could’ve known beforehand
