WRITING OBSTACLE
Submitted by Lizzie Rose.
Write a poem or story about fog, steering away from any horror themes.
Usually when we think of fog, our minds come up with a daunting image. Try to make your story/poem beautiful.
Lost
You’re lost
Lost in the fog that’s blinding you
Stuck
Stuck in between the shouts
Stuck in between the fighting
Frozen
You can’t move
You’re in a game you don’t want to play
This game is not a fun game
Yet somehow you’ve ended up in all the chaos
And yet again
You can’t move
You’re a piece in their game
Being boxed in by the shouts
Somehow your either caught up in the middle of it
Or your talked about like you don’t exist
Even though your right there
Drowning
You’ve been pushed into icy water
Your thrashing around but you can’t get up
You can’t breathe
Something drags you down
And you watch as the bubbles rise up
And your vision starts going black
You’re lost
*Shoutout of the month!*
I wanted to shout out the writer “The January Scribe” because their writing is amazing and just very relatable. It speaks truth but is kinda like twisted into a really good piece of writing with good detail that doesn’t just state the facts. You can find more meaning in the words sometimes! I think I’m gonna be doing this every month so i hope I don’t forget…
Thanks to all of you for being an amazing community! đź’šđź’šđź’š
