Write a story where your main character is connected to the mafia.

They could have a relative who is tied to the gang, be a member who wants out, a love story between members, whatever pathway you choose!

Inequitable

Since a child, Narelipa noticed that people love to say, “Life isn’t fair,” as a response to someone voicing their unfair treatment.

Which is the exact reason why Narelipa immensely hated that she lives on Awnzirro Street. The mafia lives close by that area, around in Thigeerie. But one particular girl whom is part of the mafia, is the one Narelipa tries to avoid seeing.

Her name is Papelisa. She was tall like Narelipa, but slightly buff. Her skin was more fairer than Narelipa and had a gazillion tattoos around her body. Her eyes were a gloomy gray color, which matched her spirit. Her brown hair was at shoulder-length, which she often covered in a beanie hat.

Almost everyday, when Narelipa walked home from school, Papelisa and her friends would be waiting around the corner to beat her up. Mostly for whatever money she had on her or if she wore accessories that she liked.

Unfortunately for Narelipa, Papelisa once snatched a golden necklace with a green jewel from her. It was an heirloom passed down by her great grandmother.

From that day on Narelipa knew to never wear jewelry again unless it’s cheap. But really, she previously knew it was dangerous to wear jewelry at all, growing up in the neighborhood that she’s in. But her mother always told her that great grandmother’s necklace is for good luck and protection.

She’d wished someone came and protected her when Papelisa stole it.

“Hold on, ugly!” Papelisa called out, stopping Narelipa in her tracks from going home.

She thought about running but that’ll only make it worse for herself.

“You got anything for me today?” Papelisa asked as if she’s willing to buy something.

Narelipa simply stared at her then shook her head.

Papelisa made a face like she was offended. “What? You forgot how to talk or something. Did your tongue get chopped off? Speak motherfucker!”

“No!” Narelipa responded sharply.

“Excuse me?” Papelisa leaned forward with her ear, testing her attitude.

“No.” Narelipa said more softly.

“That’s what I thought.” Papelisa said. “So you got something for me or not?”

“There’s nothing on me.” Narelipa said raising her hands in the air.

Papelisa frisked her. “Yeah, you ain’t got shit I want.” She said.

Narelipa attempted to walk away.

“Uh, where do you think you’re going?” Papelisa said. “I didn’t say you could go.”

Narelipa sighed.

“You might not got any jewelry I want but you definitely got a man I want.” Papelisa said. “So what’s his name?”

“Eaizerik.” Narelipa answered.

“Hook me up with him.”

“I don’t think you’re his type.”

Papelisa screwed her face in disapproval. “And you are?”

“No.”

“Then shut the fuck up and advertise me to your little friend. I might just wear the golden necklace to spice up my look.”

Narelipa creased her eyebrows, boiling with anger. She could tell Papelisa was enjoying her reaction.

“Speaking of golden necklace, did you call the cops about that shit?” Papelisa questioned, stepping in her personal space.

“No!” Narelipa denied.

“Good. Because if you did, I’ll slit your mama’s throat.” Papelisa threatened, looking her up and down. “But seriously though, hook me up with Eaizerik. Bye!” She walked away.
