I stand here in awe as I look through these dancing lights, colorful streamers, and smiling faces. With everyone’s efforts this gymnasium has transformed into a beautiful ballroom filled with exquisite royals, but beyond that a memory forms in all of our hearts and minds. All of our laughter will fill these halls for years to come and it marks these floor boards just like the scuffs from our sneakers. Tonight is about pride and enjoyment as we absorb the night that we, the student body, have invented. I thank you all for this night and these memories we’ve created since the first day we walked through these doors. I never could have wished for a better group of people to have shared my developmental years with and I’m filled with excitement for our future knowing the dreams you all hold.
