It was the third full moon of the 17th year of King Solo’s reign, which meant today would be good.

After months of waiting, Freya’s proposal would finally be fulfilled.

“It’s hard to believe today is actually the day,” Sage said, hooking her arm through mine.

We walked together to the town circle, awaiting the magic to come. Other villagers stood around, conversing with each other.

King Solo watched from above atop his giant dragon with anticipation.

Freya swirled her arms in a circular motion and then spread them out like the wings of a bird.

An array of sparkles erupted from her hands, casting the sky above a shimmery iridescent blue.

From the sky, magical dust inside small crystal bubbles fell slowly upon us.

I grabbed mine, enchanted by its beauty.

“The magic dust inside will grant you an adventure that your soul yearns for!” Freya instructed.
