I grew up in the most amazing place.

This place was home to my mothe ras a child.

BROOKLYN New York!!!

As I got older it was no longer my safe haven.

Too much trauma took place for me to ever really want to go back.

Those memories replay and I am left with this longing to go back.

I’m 34 now i haven’t been home since 18 years old. Now returning is just a fantasy.

But every time I’m back in the neighborhood, I make it a point to walk by my old building.

Nothing is the same throughout the whole neighborhood..

It’s like an alien planet.

almost in the blink of an eye, as soon as i See the building, I’m taken back to my childhood.

Every single memory comes flooding back.

Everything good bad and ugly.

Like a flashback in a movie scene, it’s over before i know it.

I’m here 34 in this reality.

With as much heavy ugliness, i swoouldn’t change a thing.

I choose to live with no regrets about anything.

Anything that has been done to me, anything i’ve chose to do.

I said what i said. did what i did.

You may not like me, but i love me…

and my kids like me!
