The Unlikely Treasure
My ideal life is a balance, a beautiful, high-aiming goal,
But sometimes I need a quiet place to retrieve my frantic soul.
I swear I'm a beacon, a vibrant and inspiring sight,
But I'm also just tired of constantly chasing the light.
The overcommitment hit hard, I need a break from my team,
A structured goal achieved, then silence for a deep, creative dream.
So I hid from the social gatherings, avoiding the empty cheer,
I found a spot where no one's ambition could ever get near.
Beneath the willow, you will find... my missing car keys and my phone,
The things I tossed aside when I decided to be alone.
I'm here, escaping the burnout and the stress, taking a quiet, deep sigh,
Because my "deep thought" is really just me checking out and letting time pass by.
