life isnt black and white

theres nuances of everything

shades and hidden shadows

but they never knew what it felt like

to be so damn gray

as if the colors were switched off

as if the world lost its depth and heights

they told me not see things so dark

so the light stopped coming on

after all, how do i decipher the world if it never goes pitch black
