Fire and flames burn so sweet yet devastating

I take in my mind time by time

A tick with a lack of it’s clock

Does it make me stop

Or wonder why that’s all it took

Would it be easy to be like ice

Rigid and in my own mind

Look at you now

You still sizzle my heart

Or atleast what it used to be

I still see you in me

Your touch never left

Just your fingerprints

Hopefully one day I can trace it like a maze

Back to its owner again

I’m exceptionally to the sound

Of wanting something new from before

But did have to be me to go
