four people i have liked

and i cant decide which

the first, she’s gorgeous.

she’s christian though, and very straight

but when i think of her lips on mine

butterflies and excitement mingle

in my stomach

the second, he’s caring and kind.

he plays the drums and

is smart but, he’s taken.

but he is so very pretty,

and he has a smile just for me

the third, she’s sweet and safe.

she is my date to homecoming

and she is shy but nice,

she is quite simply the safe option

and i know i could probably fall for her

and the fourth, my best friend since kindergarten

he’s considerate and funny,

he has a musical touch,

my parents do love him too,

but if it didn’t work out, i couldn’t bear the thought

how to pick how to pick-

i like each equally and guilt

overtakes me when i think about any of them
