nonsense rhyme

Youre still there

Talking to me

after all this time

I'll let you sit there

taunting me

I said "I would love you till I die."

Would you continue

Flaunting me

We could be worth each others time

Black coffee

and blondie me

I need to sit down a while

How could something

so tiny

hold up so much of me

How could something

So tiny

Hold up so much of me

How Could Something

After the wheel

The foil bones of my ribs

rattle inside the blasted kiln

begging for release

the real fire is within

glaze drips on the very bottom of my skin

trapping me in the plaster

a new artwork begins

roar with my speckles

blazed with the heat

making me new again

then sanding me neat

oh glassy surface

maker make me clean

allow every crevice

to reflect all of me...

Life is like a sharp stick

Poking in the darkness

In between the bushes

In the places unseen

Life is like a sharp stick

From the shrubs that prick me

Extra ends attaching

Let the pain surround it

Life is like a sharp stick

Be sure that you sap it

Knife is widdled from it

Let it knock you down a bit

Life is like a sharp stick

It's like that on both ends

Use it as a good switch

Watch out from the bu...

In the mirror

1 min read

I notice how her stomach hangs

drooping down over the sink

like she finally ate full

and everything on her plate was gone

her arms are slightly toned

words sharp enough to break reflective glass

rise out of my bubbling gut

and into my head like a volcano steaming

because this girl looks falsely beautiful

maybe i should clean the mirror

this is difficult to say

okay i know i said that there wouldn't be anything else to tell you but this is really big

so if you would just listen to me i think that you would be able to understand it

you see there have been years and years of feeling s built up on my shoulders

and lots of tiny emotion words swirling in my head

and remember when I told you that i saw my friends as friends but they were also so much more

Prey

Birds circled overhead.

watching.

stalking every move.

taunting.

their wings with tattered feathers

talking.

about me.

I wondered if I sang

sweeter.

to think, would they like me.

better,

would they think my down is

softer.

Would my value prove

worthy.

to fly with them

Only.

If I weren't

Did you know that every part of the dandelion is edible?

The leaf, peeled off of the stalk

put in salad and called bitter

with its flower counterpart

being fried alive

while dandelion root tea

eases your senses

Every part of you is useful

boo!

Gabs

1 min read

don’t don’t wanna be

a stuck spirit

to one place

drifting endlessly

people conjuring

never knowing my

finished business

because i’m finished

why am i here

wind is blowing

can i feel it?

fell it drifting

beneath my fingers

between strands of hair

why am i tethered

to unsolved pieces

to broken leather

hell or heaven

would i rather?

stuck to here

without a reason

kill myself

again this season...

Would you like to go out for coffee?

Gabs

1 min read

In the semi darkness, the pebbles looked like coffee beans

In the sinking, I cried out rich dark chocolate tears

In the early morning, wrapped in caramel silky sheets

in the drowning of drinks I haven't made in years

Would you like to go out for coffee?

I won't ever order. Not something with a bitter taste

A hot chocolate? In a coffee shop? Is that a waste

Rustic lights above me, it made the bri...
