Turning off the lights

Flames burn dim

Shadows taunting

Giving you a breath

Of the burns given to me

You lit your own cigarette

Test your lungs

Suffocate in ashes you burnt

Glaring through smoke

Eyes cutting through flames

Fighting for life

Slowing closing

Gone limp

Deep stench of burning flesh

On a walk of true pink veils

My love blossomed

{Been a while since I wrote a poem but I tried!}...

‘Tick-tock-tick’ went the clock. I was already paranoid enough walking through the erie subway alone. “Where is everyone..?” I whispered to myself quietly. I stopped for a moment and glanced around. Did I take a wrong turn? No.. I couldn’t have. All I could hear was the ticking of the clock and my footsteps as I continued down the subway halls. Suddenly another set of footsteps came into the hall....
