You know when you’ve just woken up from a really good dream and you feel sad, maybe almost empty, knowing that’s all it was.

I believe that’d be the feeling if I were to experience life without you. A longing for something that you once knew, whether it be for a lifetime or maybe even a few minutes....

Austin’s pov;

Something was keeping me here, and i wasn’t sure what it was. I knew sometimes things had to be done before we could finally move on, for good. To finally vanish from where we once called earth. But i wasn’t sure what i had to do.

It wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, still being around here. It just didn’t feel right.

I walk inside to the only place I’ve ever known, front and back, inside and out. But there’s a sadness stuck in me.

As I look around, I feel peace, and yet, a sense of homesickness.

I spent a year exploring the life outside these four walls, and now that it’s all over, I’ve ended up back into the familiarity I knew all too well and missed all too little.
