Then more or less

Those with nothing

Have it all,

And if they are

Worth their pence

And pittance

Isn’t worth a pound

Then how does money make the world go round?...

Everyone glimpse at the star

That sits atop a midnight mound,

It glimmers like a speck of dust

In seas of endless ground.

Words sublime are uttered

While gazing up around a crowd,

But once they’re left alone

There are no phrases to be found.

And so they wished upon the star

That shined its memories on the sky,

And though they saw the light it shown

The star had since long died....
