Do We All Die?

softly spoken

1 min read

So this is my life now

Just waiting to see what wash ashore

How many pages have i tore

To find the words im looking for

Leave it to hope if theres any to find

Scribble a little figure on the blue lines

Exlpore the foundation of your mind

Let the time guide you

Find yourself in a lost temple

Or a corporate office

But dont forget whats in the back of your mind

And when it finally feels like time,...

Nothing special in this

softly spoken

Ponder a world full of your greatest ideals,

Sit on one knee and look up with your fingertips touching your lips,

like this utopia floats above our skies

Now how can you look back down to a world of few triumphs and lack of joy.

Its just survival with an extra step

A seemingly endless mind shaped and limited by our physical world.

Silly pity,

Don’t let that be what stands in your way,

But be hap...

Favor the honor of it all

Hardships have gone, lost to time,

The unfathomable has already happened.

Let it sink in, slowly,

Let it be a sycophant in your bloodstream

Our terrors decay

The earth restores its streams

Its a pleasure to work hard

In it we fight

Fight for the honor of those past,

And do it for those now

Don’t step down....

you can go

softly spoken

Sit there and act for a vacant director,

Act as if you are not there,

Act as if it has never gone away,

When asked forgiveness accept what they say

For on the darkest of days,

Clouded contrasted haze,

Chose one thing

Love,

Love can be ones flint

And you can be ones torch

Holding the flame

Ignited by the spark

From before your final days...

beauty in how i always know its you

on the edge of the couch

because its the only place you go

feeling ashamed on how the book sounds

open your eyes

ignite dynamite in our sky

a faint echo in the pane

only my eratic mind

another day in your design...

isolating yourself

softly spoken

1 min read

howls jarred out from the feilds

wind splutter turbines lights across the sky

we draw lines to connect the worlds

direct connection between your world and mine

seperated by years of time

in your deciet, did you sink into the marsh

in the pathway of fate, did you continue your march

or did you question your reflection

feel pity for your life and turn off your lights in the sky

You dont look u...

Homer

Superstitions always seemed to facinate me. I remember Adam told me something about how the romans used to avoid battles just from odd patterns in the birds flight. Being stationed for three years now many other pleas for the supernatural have stuck around with me.

One of these flashed through my mind momentarily when smoking my cigar with my comrades. I get handed a lit match, and I hold the fl...

missing

softly spoken

I was just getting off work. It was just me and Alice that day. I remember the clouds like a dark pillow in the sky preventing any light from a quick escape. Along our route to the lonesome yet overcrowded tenement we pass the small bakery, about 2 blocks from our home. The enticing smell of the dough burning in their stone ovens reminds me of the endless repeating cycle some call liberty and i ca...
