The way you slither through the hall. Flicking your tongue out. Wrapping yourself around my arm. I graze my hand down your body. You move into the little sleeve I made for you. “Aww it’s like a little jacket” I smile and take a picture savoring the moment....

It wasn’t yours to take but nevertheless you ripped it from my grasp

I tried not to cry as it fell from my hands

That was the final straw

I break down into fits of laughter and tears

I disgust YOU

My words echo through the room

I have tried SO hard to be perfect!!

And you still treat as if I am nothing!!!!

My blade falls from their hand with a loud crash

I look in the sky and see the billions of stars.

If one went missing who would know?

You look at the stars quite often.

But do you notice when one is dying?

Slowly it dies staying bright as long as it can.

You think the star is beautiful and bright when it is dead.

This isn’t about stars....

I remember flying high

My wings moving gracefully in the sky

The memories fade slowly...
