The summer breeze blows through her auburn hair

the sun shines in her face

Her eyes are like the sky, yet they hold no clouds

they shimmer in the light

we dance, her arms around my waist and mine on hers

rays of sunlight shine down around us

the world is quiet, even the breeze dies down

as her face gets closer to mine...

sugar floods my veins

I'm brought back to my childhood

colors everywhere

Lollipops and gum

eating chocolate and sprinkles

smarties and soda

Feeling like a kid

i dance around as i laugh

wishing i was young...

To let your heart belong to someone is always a choice

But to let someone break your heart without using your voice

Is not what it means to belong to someone

Giving your heart away should be able to be undone

When your heart belongs to someone it doesn't mean

they can do whatever they want with it and you can't say a thing

always remember you have a say

in what goes on, you're not someone's pro...

Chains are what binds things

keeps them where they have to be

never escaping

Blood seeped from her skin

I watched life drain from her eyes

her colorless face

she took her own life

her body slumped to the ground

she had no heartbeat

i couldn't believe

that she no longer had life

tears fell from my eyes

Silence never existed

the light turns to green

even your footsteps

contribute to the loud noise

it's never ending

trains make CHOO CHOO sounds

cars go HONK HONK and VROOM VROOM

and the people talk

when outside becomes

quiet except for a DRIP DROP

it's only the rain...
