Fae Wildwood

1 min read

I still have nightmares

about that man.

Beer belly, big hands

grabbing a woman by the strands.

We ran away with tear in our eyes

Closing the blinds

Making sure that when we turn,

nobody’s following behind.

In 2024 we escaped hell

Crumbling thoughts, my sanity fell

Never thought I was one setback away

From my worst self

In 2025 we’re barely getting by.

It’s a tight life

Yet I still hide.

Root Rot

Fae Wildwood

1 min read

Our world is covered in green

If you must know what I mean

Look outside and see

The countless beautiful trees

In the center stands the oak

Quite the cebebrity, you know

His leaves, the birds’ cloak

That’s why he must grow

To the left yawns the palm

He hums a soothing song

Should the sun follow along,

His shade will keep you calm

To the right hides the willow

Her branches resemble a grotto

The City of Dreams

Fae Wildwood

What would you see

in the city of dreams?

A mini sun?

Glowing streets?

Benjamin Franklins

Growing on trees?

Cramped in a world of giants

Giant people, giant buildings,

Giant pizzas, giant prices

Rats as big as your leg

From your ankle

To the high of your thigh

Cars and people buzzing like bees

You wonder what would happen

If you whacked it with a bat

Or if you jabbed it with your knee

Snowflake

Fae Wildwood

1 min read

Getting cold again

I still miss you

The world outside

Shrouded in white

I still miss you

My dear snowflake

Shrouded in white

Carried off by the wind

My dear snowflake

You were soft

Carried by the wind

Your life ever fleeting

You were soft

It warmed my heart

Your life ever fleeting

Melted in my hand....
