The eerie coldness wrap around my heart,

I can’t breath.

The walls are whispering

The Scars On Our Hearts

Sif

My heart aches

Black sticky tar dripping

Onto my lungs, stomach, liver.

Engulfing me in darkness

Littered across my skin in the shape of shame.

Old as well as older,

Tales of a lifetime ago

Reminds me that I will heal...

Against my warm but bloody thighs.

In the morning they will find me

Soaked in blood and misery

They’ll worry where they went wrong

And I’ll tell them if I could

The things and things among.

My voice would quiver and break

As my hand leaves letters in its wake.

Apologetic and sincere

As my time grows thinner.
