Stranger In The Street

The stranger in the street

Was yesterday my friend

We thought we’d last forever

But even stars have an end

We shined the brightest

Out of everyone in our town

You’d see us every day

But now we’re no longer around

We would lay at watch the stars

And savor our ice cream

Thinking of days in the future

Planning out our big dream

The stranger in the street

Someone I once said goodbye

Be...

There's No Other Way

I don't care if your disgusted

I don't care if you hate me

I don't care if you think I'm lying

There's no other way it will be

You can yell at me

You can punch and fight me

You can run from me

But there's no other way it will be

You can pretend it's not real

You can guard your heart from me

But I will still love you

There's no other way it will be.

A Monster Has Awoken

My eyes flutter open

The cold hits my skin

I can feel the thump thump

Of my heart beating within

My back is on cold rock

The world around me is black

The red of my pupils reflect

Off the wet ceiling and back

My bones and skin and soul

Are no longer broken

I have healed

And now a monster has awoken….

Woodland Night

The trees whistled in the wind

The birds chirped on the branches

The leaves whirled in a gust

And the squirrel up the tree, dances

The moon peaks behind the clouds

The stars glimmer in the sky

The trunks tower like skyscrapers

As the mice scramble to hide

A chill creeps over the ground

The foxes eyes glow so bright

The deer have nestled in the meadow

To disappear in the woodland night....
