Vampires, gargoyles and ghouls too,

All reasonable fears for a girl so small, what shouldn’t have been was you.

My empathy for the girl who used to be me is unconditional,

I wish i had never let go,

But the ground is coming quick, and i am getting closer to that snow.

The railing that i had held onto kept me on the precipice of life and death,

And now, im wondering whenever my chest moves if it will be my final breath.
