She accepted the gift, feeling a swirl and mix of feelings inside of her.

Steven smiles shyly, looking at her reaction.

“Do you like it?” He asks, unable to hold in his excitement.

She smiles, her heart feeling as if it will burst. “Oh, Steven! How did you even know? It is so so beautiful!” Haven takes out the pretty plastic necklace. It’s blue gems reflect in the light.

Death hasn’t shoved me into it’s dunguns. Not quite yet, at least.

I swing up to the next small ledge, my fingers griping the small crevasse. It’s smooth, gliding down to the ground. Softly sloped. Gravity hasn’t pulled it down yet. Just like how when I’m out here, alone, just me and the mountains, the world hasn’t pulled me down.
