Flower Of Blue

The Sad Poet

1 min read

It’s been six months since you asked,

“Will you be mine?”

How far we have come,

In what little of time.

You brought me a flower,

Its color was blue.

So simple, yet precious.

And what came next, I had no clue.

The Apple Of My Eye

The Sad Poet

1 min read

You are the object of my affection,

The apple of my eye.

I count down the minutes til I get to be by your side.

My heart feels like a peice is gone,

Our hands have grown fond of eachother,

My soul finds co...

On and on it goes,

Take my breath away.

Different than always,

Never like it seems.

Hot like sun rays,

Nothing like I could dream.

It creeps up,

Forever unexpected.

My heart erupts,

And everything’s effected.

My brain subdues,

My eyes awaken.

My love pursues,

My heart is now taken....

The Princess And Her Bug Collector

The Sad Poet

1 min read

She never liked bugs,

They crawl and fly and squirm.

They get under rugs,

But she is quite fond of worms.

One day she met this boy,

Who liked such creatures.

He looked at them with joy,

His reactions ignited his features.

She told him once that he reminded her of a butterfly,

He said ”I’m not a butterfly, I’m a moth.”

And that made her reply,

“As a butterfly, you’d be better off.”

But why would...
