Roses

Dimsum_tacos

1 min read

I started life out as a seed

Been mistaken for a weed

Waited in the lilacs shade

There I wish I could’ve stayed

I bloomed too bright

and caught their sight

My doom I could not foresee

Why can’t we just let beauty be

Thorns can’t pierce a garden glove

Say goodbye to the place I love

Even roses will have cages

Cut and placed in porcelain vases...

Good Morning

Dimsum_tacos

1 min read

Sunny some days sleeping in

Now I can begin

Thinking thoughts to try tomorrow

An act so hard to follow

Usually uttering unrealistic urges

Concerned emotion surges

Voiceless victory’s vying vehemently

For the day to be

Walking witlessly while wanting warmth

Getting coffee henceforth...

Out To Sea

Dimsum_tacos

1 min read

I stood by the waves

Explored all the caves

Whispered my name

And that whisper became

An echo that traveled out to sea

In response there was thunder

From ships pulled far under

An omen of doom

My possible tomb

Something from my depths now set free

Simple words, a beautiful song

Saying I do not belong

Calling me to abandon this life

Filled with unending strife

The ocean waves called to...

Stars Apart

Dimsum_tacos

1 min read

Stars seems so close together

But they’re very far apart

Trapped alone forever

And framed to look like art

They are sewn into the bleakest skies

To help us guid our hearts

So without wings we try to fly

Ignoring all the charts...

Museum Of Crumbling Statues

Dimsum_tacos

1 min read

I work in a museum

A museum filled will crumbling statues

Statues still alive

Alive but returning to stone

Stone eyes that seem to know

To know who they are

They are lost in the past

The past filled with life

Life seems so slippery now

Now it’s hard to remember

To remember who they were

They were once free

Free to love their families

Families are fading in their minds

Minds that spill ...

Nothing

Dimsum_tacos

1 min read

Thanks for nothing

It’s truly a piece of mind

No frills or Lace

Just empty space

Nothing to remind

Thanks for nothing

I’m fine on my own

Content to be free

Happy with me

See how much I’ve grown...

Praise That Bean

Dimsum_tacos

1 min read

I walked into a cafe

And Ordered up my drink

Mocha latte’s help me think

After all the exam is today

Sheltered in the corner

On the velvet couch

Looking like a grouch

Feeling like a foreigner

But with caffeine

My minds is free

Ready for my test

Praise that bean !

I got a B

And am ready for some rest...

The Absence Of Pain

Dimsum_tacos

1 min read

The absence of fear and gloom

Remembering flowers eventually bloom

Getting out of bed with something to do

Having friends to take care of you

Keeping pace with the world around

Not letting anxious thoughts abound

Returning to clear blue skies

Just one day that no one cries

Hobbling away from tears

Keeping warm despite the jeers

More of absence from the pain

On days that depression begin...

Stone

Dimsum_tacos

1 min read

We breath

We try

We hope

But die

Till one day, the wind is shifted

And our hearts again are lifted

Mixing pieces of my soul

Sacrificing to the goal

It’s not mercury I want bind

When love is very hard to find

Displaying words as if I care

Conjuring hope within my layer

From the mess within my mind

Something useful or Something kind

From a stone I try to make

A heart that does mor...

Roots

Dimsum_tacos

1 min read

Deep breath

People lie

Doesn’t mean

you’ll never fly

Keep you feet

On thé ground

You are still

Adventure bound

Work hard

Roots will grow

Give it time

They will show...
