Burning, burning

Ringing in my ears

The quiet is too loud.

What is on my mind?

Yearning, yearning

Burning in my eyes

Acid on my skin.

Melting from anticipation

Saved from shaky breaths

Let’s confess our

And thoughts of love....

I never was an early riser

I’d wake well after dawn

But the spectacle of your eyes

Appears in the rising sun
