A desire
A flame
The scortching heat of the retreat
Running from love
Or burning with rage
The desires we feel deep with our hearts
The fire that burns within
Won’t let us settle for less
If desires are a flame,
Then I’m a wildfire
Burning with passion
That never wants to go out...
The things I wish I could forget
How much better I could see if I would not regret
The memories they haught me
It’s a burden I wish I could forget
But it’s burned in my mind
Etched into my memory
The burden of my memory that I wish I could forget...
The silent rustle in the air
The breath of trust floating still
Awaiting the day for all to see
The beauty of the silent wind
Whispers in the wind
To whisper secrets in our ears
We are all on the mend
Waiting to overcome our fears...
Every day is a start of something new
A fresh start an empty pot
Endless possibilities that could never be known
The potter with his clay
Shaping and moulding into something great
Something new
Never seen before
This is the endless possibilities of what you could become
Like the clay in the hands of a sculptor
The possibilities are limitless...
An element of life
It keeps things moving
You can’t see it but you know it’s there
The way the trees wave like they’re excited to see you
And the air whistles like a soft song in the air
The leaves are scattered across the ground
In a playful pattern of fun
It all comes together a fun part of life
As we sit together and let the wind blow through the night...
Coming and going
Striving to reach the end
Giving up your wants to satisfy your needs
Looking out for others
You forget about yourself
You smile as you come
And you smile as you go
The sacrifice you made
Brought more joy than pain in your life
It’s time to lay it all down
The greatest gift of all
A sacrifice...
The power house of life
It never stops working
Pumping life into your mind
It never gives up
Pumping life into your body
If left alone to die
It’ll take all your dreams with it
It pumps these thoughts into your mind
That you never want to forget
It wonders where you’ve gone
But it never gives up
It’s your biggest strength
Yet it’s your biggest weakness
Can end your life in a beat
Or keep you ali...
This time of year when things are new
The flowers blossom
and the spring unfolds
We clean out our houses
We clean up our homes
And restore the life in our eyes
That was lost to the coldness of winter
It’s the season for cleansing
It’s the season for life...
These are two haiku’s about the paradox of trust, being capable of great beauty and harm. Trust is a great thing when put in the right place but can lead to great destruction when placed on the wrong person. I hope you enjoy!
I Knew You
I Miss the real you
I Lost you
/
I trust you
You broke me again
I hate you...
If only you knew
The pain I went threw
Just to know you
If only you knew
The time I spent
Trying to know who you were
If only you knew
What I wanted to say
But was too shy to try
If only you knew
Maybe things could of been different
But hey maybe it’s better you never knew...
