Okay, this entry needs to happen now even if my next scheduled journal entry isn't for another couple of days. I had to leave work early on Friday because I couldn't raise my arms more than a few inches from my body. I went to the doctor and explained my pain: if I tried using my arms in any way, torturous pain would surge through my upper back; the higher I raised them, the more intense the pain became. The doctor examined my back and ran some tests, but after a couple of hours could only send me away with a prescription of pain meds. That's $310 down the damn drain. The directions were to take them every four hours, they were supposed to last me for two weeks, but by last night I'd swallowed the entire bottle the pain was so unbearable. Right as I reached my breaking point with this pain, it seemed my skin had too. Around five this morning, the pain had reached its peak as two masses on my shoulder blades had gotten so large they burst. At first, I thought they might've been some kind of enlarged blood vessels and I'd bleed out and die, then I noticed a strange shift in my weight. Looking around I saw two gigantic wings. When they flapped, I felt muscles move like I was just moving my arms. It took me a few minutes of concentration, but I managed to to slowly move them back and forth. I called off of work today, claiming a medical emergency. I'm so scared. What do I do? If anything more comes of these, I'll be sure to make another entry. God help me.
