This will be my first book.

The main characters are very dear to me, particularly the MMC who I've had developed for many years now. I've used him in a few rp's with friends and have been able to experiment with his story and background, one that I've quickly grown pasionate about. I would love to share the world I've made with other people, to be able to give readers the same intense emotions and dedication that I feel when I read, to know that I've made a positive impact in someone's life and, hopefully, be the creator of someone's favourite story.

I've always wanted to be an author, but it hasn't been a straight forward path. Creative Writing, Poetry, and the likes were always my favourite subjects and topics in school. The older I got, the more I felt like I had to be more 'realistic' and change my career plans. So I did.

I'm still in my early 20's, and I know plenty of people have started much later than me, but part of me can't help but feel like I didn't start early enough. You hear about people publishing books they wrote at 12, or just having written multiple novels by the time they were my age and being really successful. I know comparing isn't going to help me at all, but I can't stop myself from feeling at least a little disheartened.

With that aside, I'm going to put everything I have into this book. Planning has taken me months, and it took me even longer to even get a start, so I'm proud of myself for that at least. I might be really bad at procrastinating and I might not have complete confidence in my writing ability, but I'm still proud of myself. It's my dream to be financially stable being an author, and while I know it's not easily obtained, it's still something I'm going to strive for. If not for my future self, then at least for the kid that thought anything was possible.

This book will prove to myself that I can create something beautiful, and share that beauty with as many people as possible.
