WRITING OBSTACLE

Submitted by an anonymous user

Write a dialogue of one season taking over from the previous. What might they need to discuss or prepare?

The Four Seasons.

"Autumn." I said, "It's your time."

She turns back at me, golden eyes gleaming. "Summer, please. Can't you stay a bit longer?"

I glance at Winter, who clearly isn't enjoying this. He shakes his head at me.

Fall perks up from the couch. "Summer is one of the main seasons. We can't have him stay longer."

"Fall is right." Winter says. "C'mon Autumn. It takes a few months."

"Please?" Autumn begs.

"Why? Give me a good reason and I might stay longer." I said finally.

"I don't think the people like me." She says quietly.

"What?" Winter asks. "Of course they do. They have aesthetics and drinks based on you." Winter continues, his white eyes sparkling with something more than just his cold attitude. Did he feel bad for Autumn?

Autumn shakes her head and sighs. "Maybe."

Fall grins, clearing enjoying this. "Perfect!"

Fall was always the funniest. She was also very child-like.

Autumn sighs, and turns to me. "End your turn. I want to go now."

I nod, quickly ending the summer season with a flick of my wrist.

Autumn goes next, making the leaves crumple under her touch. Green to a beautiful red.
