Dea and Ashe had exacted their revenge on the coven that had cast them aside.

The leaders were defeated and their names cleared.

'it was such a pity they all had to burn', stated Dea, Ashe her fire breathing sparrow familiar was perched on her shoulder, cleaned it's beak on his wings.

He chirped, his rescue had gone according to plan and was all part of Dea's grander scheme to rid themselves of the coven.

-Weeks later-

In a lighthouse on the coast once governed by the Coven, Dea and Ashe had taken refuge to wait for the aftermath of the Coven to take effect.

One night a lone Witch arrived at the foot of the lighthouse by the name of Veil, covered neck to toes in tattoos, she was forgetful and had spells and incantations inked into her skin.

Ashe flew down to the bottom of the lighthouse to greet Veil, Ashe perched just above the spy hole and looked out, Veil was sat on the floor with her back to the door.

Ashe chirped loudly, Dea made her way down, Veil was their first visitor and was still unsure of how to proceed with people she did not know.

'What is the pass phrase?' Dea said through the door, she heard a gasp then ragged breathing.
