POEM STARTER

Submitted by Robin Marlowe

Write a poem about unseasonable weather. e.g. A warm day in the winter, or snow in the summer.

Cold in Summer

Cold wind whispers through the trees,

A wind that nips and bites, yet aims to please.

Cold frost on the windowpane,

A frost that nips and bites, yet aims to please.

Cold snowflakes falling from the sky,

A snowflake that nips and bites, yet aims to please

Cold, Cold, Cold.

All this cold

could go away

It came down, light as a feather

Now it's time to go back to summer weather
