“Come on, Nix, it’s just a hill.” Said Kevin, trekking his way up the grassy hill.

Phoenix lugged her way below him, breathless and exhausted. “You know I’m the most un-athletic person, like, ever, right?” She said through gasps

Kevin rolled his eyes as he leaned against the trunk of a massive tree. “Maybe you could wish for that.”

“No thanks.” Said Phoenix, laying on the grass beside Kevin. She laid her arm above her eyes and groaned. “You said you come here every day?”

Kevin nodded, looking up the enormous tree. “I wish for a fun, memorable day.” He said with a smile. The tree started to hum from within, vibrating through the bark before standing still.

Phoenix slowly sat up and made her way over to the tree, placing her hand on the bark. “I wish to spend that day with Kevin.” She muttered. The tree hummed once more.

Kevin nodded approvingly. “Good wish.”

Phoenix scoffed. “Your day is only memorable because of me.”

“You’re very easy to remember.” Said Kevin, turning to walk down the hill.

Phoenix paused. “Wait, is that supposed to be an insult?”

Kevin didn’t respond. Phoenix made to join him, but failed and ended up rolling down the hill instead. Kevin joined her at the bottom.

“Very memorable.” He said, helping Phoenix up.
