_Author x character because I can’t help myself_

Anastasia stares down at her hands in horror.

"What. Did. You. Do?" Eiran is looking at me like he might actually find a way to kill me.

"So basically, I created a little section in my head about water weaving and Filicaan so when a character has Filicaan and they use their water weaving to heal another character, the character heals from their Filicaan but the injured develops it!" I smile.

Eiran throws a fireball at my face which, obviously, goes right through me, like always.

"Still doesn’t work, Eiran."

Anastasia breaks out into a sob. "I’m killing Ade. I’m killing _people_-"

Ade sits down onto the bed lost in his own mind. "I’m dying."

Valencia sits down besides him and rubs his back and presses her cheek against his shoulder while tears fall from her eyes.

"No, no-" Eiran says. "You’re not killing off Ade."

Ade smirks. "I thought you wished that I would die?"

Eiran throws a fireball past his face and Val kills it out before it can hit the off-white wall and leave a mark.

Valencia narrows her eyes at him. "I don’t appreciate you trying to kill my boyfriend when he’s already dying."

Eiran glares at me. "You are evil."

"I’m an author."

"You-"

"You’re not killing him off," Amadi cuts through. "He is the only family I got left," he walks up to me. "_Please_," he holds my hands in his. I look up at the tall dark skinned man in black armour.

Wait stop. He’s going to make me cry.

I look at Ade who has a small smile on his face but I created him — I know it’s fake.

I roll my eyes and pull away. "Fine!" I groan exaggeratedly. "Give me an hour, I’ll go sort it out."

I open up my portal and step back into my world.

Fifty minutes later, I step back in. "Happy now? None of you are dying?"

Amadi hugs me tightly. I sigh softly and hug me back.

Eiran raises an eyebrow. "Your hugging the person that tried to kill your friend?"

"Shut up, Eiran."

Eiran rolls his eyes. "Did you fix my wife?"

I freeze and Amadi pulls away. "Oh..! You er.. You wanted me to get rid of Ana’s Filicaan?"

"YES!" the whole room shouts at me causing me to flinch.

"Come on!" I groan. "That would take FOREVER. I would have to redo like ten chapters and fifteen scenes outside of that!"

"Now!" Eiran orders.

I roll my eyes, groaning again. "Give me ten hours."

"What do you need ten hours for?" Val tilts her head.

"YOU try redoing basically everything while you’re chronically ill, a student who has GCSE’s next year and parents who always decide to go out last night and THEN we’ll see how long you take."

The whole room goes silent.

"YEAH." I open the portal and step in.

About five hours later, I come back into the Nyro dimension. "There. You happy now?"

Anastasia and Eiran lets out a breath of relief.

"I thought you said it’d take ten hours?" Val asks.

"I was being dramatic. Also, I was in the zone, y’know?"

"Just get out," Eiran sighs, shutting his eyes so he doesn’t have to look at me.

"See ya!" I open the portal and step inside.
