Please explain what belonging means?

I own a car

Well, me and the bank!

I own a house

Well, me and the bank!

Those are just material things

But what does belonging really mean?

I might not be the prettiest

My heart is full of love to give

I own my heart

It belongs to me, and only me

The bank can’t take that away
