Here I was, standing on the side of an empty, trashed road with no one to blame but myself. I could’ve stayed at the party with my friends, but I had to act independent and walk out like a clown. But what did I expect? My ex-boyfriend was bothering me and trying to take me back after his mistake from three years ago, and now he has the audacity to say that things have changed since the breakup? I can’t even comprehend how pissed I was from just looking at his staged attitude, acting like he didn’t assult my own best-friend for lying about where I went, even though she was protecting me from him, I couldn’t help but feel guilt for being someone who’s loved and cared for me since pre-K into my own toxic relationship. But anyways, I looked around the dark roads for any lights or noise, but it was only silent. Too empty for my liking. But I could’ve sworn that I saw a tall shadow from my eye, was it fake? Or am I just going insane over the situation entirely? Either way, I should be careful about this weird road.
