Inside of me is a whirlwind of creeds

A version of me of endless devotions

As I encompass the world in the eye of my sea

And pour my heart out like a hurricane takes to an ocean

I am beauty and pain

Sorrow and hope

I may look hurt and in dismay

But I know there’s a knot at the end of my rope

I won’t succumb to other earthly things

As they move around me

For I am the judged, the cursed, and yet a blessing

As the world heats, I break free

And will reign for all and eternity.

What am I?

I am felt but not seen

I can add relief to the burning

Or I can bring the world to its knees
