POEM STARTER
In a poem, write about a love triangle between three people.
Will you write from each person's perspective with unique voices, or omnisciently tell the whole story?
Entangled Hearts
(The Lover)
In the twilight’s whisper, I found her glow
A sunbeam dance, of a flame growing cold
But shadows lurk, as fate weaves it’s thread
Two souls entwined, in dreams we’ve tread
Yet a tempest blooms within my chest
A paradox of love, I can not confess
While I’m drawn to her, my heart feels the strain
In this dance of desire, we inflict the pain
(The Best Friend)
In hidden glances, my heart has been caught
Watching from shadows, I’m tangled in thought
He wears her laughter as bright as the dawn
But amidst my silence, my love’s gently drawn
I wished for no secrets, in moments we shared
But now it’s a struggle; to be brave, I’m scared
As he claims her smile, I wage this fight
In dreams, I am lost; while I hide from the daylight
(The Dreamer)
Caught between two, my heart does collide
Two stars entwined, I’m swept in the tide
One’s voice a melody; the other’s laughter a song
In this love-colored tempest, where do I belong?
Pulled in two different directions, two sides of a coin
In my heart’s tapestry, their threads intertwine
Do I choose the spark, or the comfort I crave?
In this love triangle, I am both the lost and the brave
Oh, tangled dreams, in a web we weave
A heart split in two, can love mislead?
Between passion’s fire, and friendship’s refrain
I’m lost in the chaos, can we break this chain?
