POEM STARTER

Write a poem about a curse, evil, or malintent.

An atmosphere of wickedness is a rarer theme in poetry. Have a go at creating a menacing tone in your poem.

Beating Eyes

Faint whistles

of warring winds

CRASH

walls—

bloody,

skinned.

Shrieks

from broken hearts,

a cave carved

from darkness

and scars.

prayers of protection.

Petrified

of those eyes.
