WRITING OBSTACLE
Connection. Picture. Island.
Incorporate these three words, in this order, into a short story.
Lover’s Tale
Our love is a bridge between reality and dreams,
Butterflies, candle wax, and all that’s in between.
Summer glazes proudly over spring,
The bells of your sweet melody bestow a wondrous ring.
A connection from our long-past childhoods,
We race to Heaven together, as lovers should.
God’s grace given to us who obey,
Who are sometimes together and rarely away.
If one word could describe our mixture,
It would be a beautiful nature-scene “picture”.
Whether that be a field of flowers and trees,
Or and island in the middle of the sea.
One day, I will find my way back to you in Heaven,
Ever since you passed on, with a lasting message;
You said, “dear lover, our love is a windy afternoon-
A beautiful, well-lit day, accompanied by a typhoon.”
