I was screaming, wondering where I was going. I was an astronaut, and on one of my missions, I had been launched into a wormhole.

Everything—my entire life—was passing by me in memories, and I was the spectator. From my first word spoken to my final thought before the wormhole, I saw it all.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, I landed somewhere.

Underneath me was solid metal. I realized I was on a small, rounded off stage.

In front of me, there were two people with odd looking ears.

One was a woman, one was a man. When they saw me, they gasped.

“The earthling! You’re 100 years early!” The man exclaimed.

The earthling? Was I on an alien planet?

“Where am I?” I asked, looking at the man.

“You’re on Elenxino; one billion light years away from earth!” The man was clearly a storyteller; the voice said everything.

“O—One billion!?” I repeated, knowing I had a shocked expression on my face.

“Mhm!” The man nodded, a proud grin on his face.

The woman walked off to go grab something—I assumed.
