The bombs fell from the sky as though gravity itself was calling them-neverending.

Sam ducked his way through the hell, and still they continued to drop. One after another, after another, after another.

“‘Ow am I supposed to survive this?” he asked himself as he conitued his way through mud, smoke, pools of red-stained water. Sam saw his brothers laying in pain, an agony undescribable. Some, lay in no pain at all. He knew what had happened to them.

But he’d no time to spill empathy, a message had to be delivered and he swore that he would be the hero of the day and deliver it. As fast as he ran, as fast as he had come he felt as though his destination was walking itself away from him. Further and further.

“Sir, sir,” Sam yelled but the background of explosions overpowered him.

“SIR!” And with this shout Sam grabbed the seniors arm and pulled as hard as possible.

“I ‘av this delivery for you,” bombs continued to dominate the background, “ it’s important that you read it.”

“Huu sent you son?”

“Down at the ‘ed office, sir”

The elder gentleman stared in bewilderment at young Sam.

“Your at the wrong place young man, about several miles off indeed.”

What now he thought! What chaos!
