No one try’s to be a hero

Does that mean we are villains

Maybe

The few of us that show,

Show we can find a way

But we’ll still just follow

The people who are scared of the truth

Scared to reach into the fires of freedom

Scared when the leaders fall

And they’ll have to lead

Some don’t understand

Some pretend

The people who do,

Who do have hope

The people who can brave through

The people who are creative

The people who are brave

The people that have no fear of pain

When the stars fall

Those people will stand tall

Because that’s how it’s always been
