I opened my eyes to a blaring sound of beeps and loud noises. I tried to stand by felt as if I was ran over by a semi truck, tried speaking but my voice a whisper compared to the shouts happening around. I was still surrounded by darkness and focused on the light ahead. As I walked towards the light that was bright I thought I was in heaven but the scene that greeted me was anything but heavenly.

She’s awake was the next thing I heard but my memories were shattered no where to be found. What happened? I whispered and the doctor looked at me and said you were sitting at a coffee shop and a truck ran into the shop and hit you, Oh the irony. The doctor proceeded to check my eyes with a light and asked do you know your name? I stared at him trying to remember but nothing came. I shook my head, opening my mouth and say the words I cannot remember. He looked at me with pity but then a flash of another expression crossed his face but he makes it as quick as it came.
